As Canadian Veterans evolve, so should the ways in which we honor them. Earlier this year, we showcased our expanded approach to remembrance which seeks to recognize all who have served our country in uniform, both here at home and around the world.
As we continue to honor our veterans of both World Wars and the Korean War, it is important to find innovative ways to recognize all who served. We want to know how our people would like to pay tribute to Canadian Veterans, those in service, and those who fell in a battle for our country.
Starting today, we invite Veterans, their families, and all Canadians to comment on this important topic through our online consultation regarding the future of remembrance. The online consultation will run from June 18 to July 9, 2021. As a result, the feedback received will guide how we honor Veterans for years to come.
